Beyond the Screen

Bold Minds is not meant to live only online. A major part of the vision is turning digital learning into real-world experience.

One concept in development is an immersive summer boarding program for boys in the United States: roughly six weeks of living and learning together in a structured, rite-of-passage-inspired environment that combines education with personal development and community. The purpose is not a summer camp. It is a formative experience. Students would leave understanding more about who they are, what they are capable of, what responsibility means, and how they can contribute to their families and communities.

Please note: this program is a concept in development. The program model, location, curriculum, safeguarding policies, staffing, age groups, partnerships, and admissions process are still being designed and have not been finalized.

What a formative experience could include

01.

Identity and leadership. Cultural identity, brotherhood, discipline, responsibility, communication, and mentorship from men who have walked the path.

02.

Academics and the future. Academic enrichment, technology, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and problem solving that connects to the digital curriculum.

03.

Body and community. Physical activity, teamwork, life skills, and community responsibility, so what is learned gets practiced.

Over time, the ecosystem beyond the screen could grow to include cultural immersion experiences, mentorship programs, physical learning kits, global diaspora exchanges, and student leadership programs. A child in Atlanta learning alongside a child in Accra. We are building toward that, one partnership at a time.
