Join the Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee is a panel of educators, scholars, and practitioners who make sure what we build is accurate, culturally grounded, and worthy of the children it serves. We are assembling the founding committee now.
What we ask of members. Review curriculum and products a few times a year. Join periodic working sessions. Tell us plainly when we have something wrong. Lend your name and expertise to a project you believe should already exist. There is no fundraising requirement.
What members get. A hand in shaping the first diaspora-centered digital learning ecosystem, a seat at the table with peers across education, technology, and culture, and recognition as a founding advisor on this site and in our materials.

Tell us about yourself
Send a short note: who you are, the expertise you bring, and why this work matters to you. A CV or link to your work helps but is not required.

We read it
Every note is read by a founder. We will acknowledge it within two weeks and let you know next steps.

A conversation
If it looks like a fit, we will set up a short call to talk about where your expertise could plug in and what the commitment looks like.

Founding advisors are announced on the Advisory Board page as they are confirmed, and join our first working sessions.

Who we are looking for
Knowledge holders
Historians and scholars of African, African American, Caribbean, and Afro-Latin studies. K-12 educators and curriculum designers. Geneticists, genealogists, and anthropologists. Leaders from museums, libraries, universities, HBCUs, and diaspora organizations.
Builders and storytellers
Technologists and AI specialists. UX and learning experience designers. Writers, illustrators, animators, and filmmakers. Parents and youth mentors who know what children actually respond to.
